DIY budget balcony makeover

I was super excited when my friend ask me to help with decorating her dull balcony. That’s exactly the kind of project I love working on the most.. not only it’s creative, fun.. but I didn’t have to spend any of my own money🤣haha and I even got spoiled with delicious lunch! The apartment is rented so they had nointention spending  much money but wanted a nice place to relax after hard day at work.

No more of this sad view!

Scroll down to the bottom for shopping list☺

Swing chair (on sale now at €115) Lights: 200 lights outdoor/solar €11.99, Party Lights €9.99, Jars €4.99 –  Homestore and more

Stripey cushions (on sale at €5.80) – Heatons

Wooden crates – from €8, great selection from Rustic Wood Decor (and we got super discount too, the guy delivers to your door free of charge!)

We may want to add more green.. few plants maybe.. but I think we did quite well. Would you add anything apart from a glass of red vino?😆

Haha..so yeah a girly night is needed! I’m going to grab a bottle of wine and chill there very soon🍷

  1. What a delightful project for you to share with your friend. I love what you did, great makeover, little bit of privacy, magical for the children too.

  2. GORGEOUS! We have 2 balconies that need some tender loving care. Outside jobs are usually a ‘blue’ job (for the Mr) but I feel inspired by this post to reclaim it as a ‘pink’ job and do a mini makeover.
