My friends recently purchased they first house, and after initial visit I knew their style is rather minimalistic with white and grey being the dominant colour throughout the house. Although the girl (the owner) has a thing for pink, and there are different pink shades appearing accents in kitchen and living room.. so I’ve made them this..
Zpagetti/ Tshirt Yarn Coasters – Simple and super fast to make!
They are crochet level total beginner, all I did was:
Start with Magic Loop (or chain 3) round 1: 6 single crochet
round 2: 2 sc in each (12sc)
round 3: 2sc, 1sc, 2sc, 1sc all around (18sc)
depending on the yarn thickness and desired size you may want to add on more row, I that case round 4: 2sc, 1sc, 1sc – reapeat until you have 24sc
Weave in the ends and voila!
I used hook size 10mm
I’ve previously made a video on how to crochet baby slippers using tshirt yarn Click here to view it – the beginning of it is the exact same as making coasters!
If you don’t know yet I make and sell necklaces made out of zpagetti yarn – here is my little shop BeorKNOTtobe
Also I do sell small lentghs of the yarn in my shop, feel free to message me Here if you are looking for a specific colour to make the coasters or the baby slippers!

They’re so cute, and how lovely that they’ll fit right in with the decor. I really want to use some tshirt yarn. That will probably be the first thing I buy when I’m allowed to buy yarn again!

I think you’ve just given me a much needed nudge in the direction of my t shirt yarn supplies! I seem to like buying it more than using it!
